A social networking service is an online service, platform, or site that focuses on facilitating the
people who, for example, share interests, activities, backgrounds, or real-life connections. Social networking sites allow users to share ideas, activities, events, and interests within their individual networks. A social network service consists of a representation of each user (often a profile), his/her social links, and a variety of additional services. Most of them are web-based and provide means for users to interact over the Internet, such as e-mail and instant messaging.
Facebook, Twitter, LinkedIn, Google +. YouTube, Pinterest, Instagram, Tumblr, Flickr are just some of many social networking sites and among them by the latest research the first three were proven to be the most popular ones.
This post is about social networking, but I am inspired to write something more about it, besides only mentioning the facts most of us already know.
Social media is a very big, useful, but dangerous world.
Yes, it helps us, A LOT, with our daily obligations, requests, with our life in general.
Honestly saying, I can hardly imagine my day without the Internet and social media.
Every thing consists of pros and cons, almost every person knows what are the ones of social media, but it does not stop us to waste more and more of our precious time looking at screen, seeing bunch of useless garbage.
inspiring and educational content. Social media, in particular, can be
very useful by helping to grow your business, broad your horizons, find new opportunities.. but just like it helps us so much, it is simultaneously doing the totally opposite thing, making us so antisocial and in fact, very lonely.
So many people, get so busy by the social media from the start of their day, quitting so fast to see the beauty surrounding them, changing it for some world that is not even real.
Likes, tweets, views, comments, shares, friend requests, followers, snaps…all of those meaningless numbers are making you “happy”, “confident”, “cool”, but how much does it, after all, really matter??
My genuine advice is to put your phone down for a while, and enjoy in the present.
Challenge yourself every day to spend less time scrolling through useless news feeds,
counting likes and number of friends, and make an effort to make real connections and true friendships.
Don’t be entrapped and addicted to this drug, it is your life and your choice. All of us are only responsible for our own happiness, and just after counting all of these numbers you pretend to be so much proud of, try to use only one moment to ask yourself , is it really the right source of pure happiness we are all looking for..
Don’t be blind and let it all slip away because of some digits. Be aware and make a difference.

Cause that will mean we'll be one bar closer - to humanity”, Prince Ea
